Inside Melly's Wardrobe | The Blazer

Welcome to my new feature, where I'll be talking about some of my favourite pieces from my wardrobe.


Every stylish lady needs a good blazer. We're talking great fit, comfortable, easy to layer up and versatile.

I'm a huge fan of bright colours but this gorgeous piece is a neutral off-white. The colour makes it easy to team up with different colours and patterns. 

A while back, a fabulous brand got in touch with me. Sometimes, I'm wary of approaches like this but I'm going to introduce you to a brand who are making real waves. If you're a lover of fashion brands, then you'll likely have heard of Luxemme.

Describing themselves as 'a forward thinking fashion brand combining Parisian chic with Manchester street style', I'm pleased to say that they didn't disappoint. I had a browse and decided that I owned enough party pieces for now, so it was time to invest in a new blazer. The Clara Tailored Blazer in off-white. 

And I want to put this blazer over damn near everything! I've worn it to brunches, business meetings and even on a night out. The colour is fantastic and it matches well with a lot of other items in my wardrobe.
