Working with Yasmin Qureshi | Part One - A Fun Photoshoot
Us bloggers just LOVE an excuse to be in front of the camera and this all about the work I've done with photographer Yasmin Qureshi.
First of all, how 'high fashion' is the name Yasmin Qureshi? It sounds so Vogue. I still can't remember how we met. I think Yasmin posted in a blogger group or maybe we connected on Twitter. I really don't remember exactly but what has come from this is a fab friendship and some great work.
The first shoot I did with Yasmin took place last July. She decided to make bloggers the subject of her summer project. The two of us met for the first time at a workshop, hosted by the Pinterest UK team.
After the workshop, which was held at Fazeley Studios, we headed down the road to the Custard Factory. I dumped my stuff in my office and we got taking some pictures.
I absolutely love the vibrance and colour of this shoot. I think the Custard Factory is a great setting too. Yasmin is so nice to work with, she's so chilled out. We had such a laugh, considering we had only met that day. That's exactly what you need with a photographer - someone who makes you feel at ease. I'm certainly no supermodel but she does a good job of making you feel like one.

I adore these shots in particular. I had quite a few to choose from. Take a look at her other work, over on her website. She has done some gorgeous shoots with other people. You can find it here.
We did another shoot which I'm super excited to show you. Look out for part two!
Lots of love,
Melly xo
