Styling My Check Shirt
My go-to pattern is a good old-fashioned stripe but I couldn't resist this check shirt, when I saw it.
You know I love a bargain and for £7, I couldn't leave this shirt on the rail. I was looking for tartan for one particular night at church.
This shirt is cropped which isn't entirely helpful, when you have quite a large bust, so I bought it a couple of sizes too big, to accommodate. I like to button mine up, but it looks equally as good with a white cotton cami underneath.
I don't have any high waisted jeans, so I paired it with these black high-waisted culottes from Tesco (an absolute steal at £10).
I'm obsessed with these trousers and to be honest, I'd wear them everyday, if I could. They're SO easy to style and SO versatile. The fit is amazing. They look good with flats too.

This is the sort of look that would be awesome in a meeting but just as chic for after-work drinks. Plus it got the nod of approval from one of my most stylish friends. Win win.
Thanks for stopping by.
